Thats Embarrassing

I want to dedicate this page to funny memories. So periodically I will change it out. My hope is to hear some of your favorite embarrassing moments. There is something at laughing at the expense of others that is just so great. So lets just see how this works.

Ok Embarassing moment Number 1

When I was in the 4th or 5th grade (I really dont remember but that sounds good) our church was having this big anniversary thing at convention hall. I was in a singing group for the kids at our church. We would sing and dance it was such a big deal. I still think I was the best dancer we had I just never got my big break. Anyway we used props and stuff like that. Well during one of the routines I was supposed to sit on some milk crates. The problem was that the person who stacked them didnt stack them right so when I sat down…. I sat all the way down on the ground. The crates flew out from under me. you have to picture me then too… My mom was already shopping in the huskey section at Martins. Good ole mom never made me feel weird about it either. I thought all jeans had elastic. Anyway there was only 1000 people there that saw the chubby kid hit the floor. That was so awesome.

Embarrassing Moment Number 2

Have you ever had those moments in your life when you say something that you immediately want to take back. Well I do probably on a daily basis. I lead a 1st Priority CLub at Southside High School every Thursday morning. Well this particular morning we were sitting in there and they called this name over the loud speaker. Well yours truly who feels it is his responsibility to make people laugh at anything took it upon himself to say and I quote “O Man if that was my name I would pay them not to say it over the loud speaker”. Well I got the response I was going for and even a little more form one of the students who looked and me and said Thank you in a joking manner.

Well at that moment a girl got up and walked to the office because it was totally her. I felt about 2 inches tall. I was so embarrassed. Looking back on it now the name really is not anything that out of the ordinary. I did learn a valuable lesson. Always know the peoples names that are seated around you. I am very impressed by her though because she has still come back every week in spite of it all.
