Being in youth ministry my year starts with the start of school. Everything revolves around the lives of my students. This is probably my favorite time of year because everything is new. School starts back this week which is good because I will have a lot to do. Football games, school lunches, and all that follows. I lead a Bible club at Southside High every Thursday morning. I really enjoy being around different students.
Tomorrow is the start of the new Sunday School year. I am always a little nervous because many students move up and it is the first exposure they have to the student ministry. This ear proves to be interesting because there are 52 names on the rolls of the new 6th graders coming up. I am always up for a challenge though. I hope that everyone has had a great weekend.
