I wanted to add some pictures, but I am having to write this from the nursing home. We have had a great day. Although Jacob Mayfield is sick and is at the Dr. as we speak and Lydia fell today. She is doing fine though she just told me that her leg is feeling fine. We started today at an adult daycare. We were able to participate in the Bible story time, sing some songs, and play games with them. It was so interesting listening to some of their stories. Hearing some of the stories from Katrina was very interesting.
We came to the nursing home we were at earlier this week because the students wanted to come back. We are going to work in the City Park tomorrow morning. It will be the day that we do manual labor. After the park I think we are going to go to the WW II museum here in New Orleans. Friday is our free day and I think we are going to go to the Zoo. I allowed them to vote last night what they wanted to do and he Zoo won.
We are going to go to the French Quarter after we leave here. It will be the first time we have done anything local since we have been here. They are all real excited about going. I hope you are all having a great week. Leave some comments for your student so I can give them to them.

What up Boze? Are you guys actually at a place called “City Park?” That’s were we stayed when we did the New Orleans trip in ‘06. Imagine a tent city right at the front gate of the stadium. Portable showers. Port-a-toilets. And a trash can with a sign that read “Alright ladies, you know the drill.” What lady wouldn’t be thrilled to put her “stuff” in there in front of everybody?
