Well back in the saddle again. I just wrote a post and lost it. I hate when that happens. So now I am going to try again. It has been a busy couple of days. Yesterday the entire staff of the church ate lunch at the pastors house for Administrative Assistance Day. We had a great time. We had a great night last night as well.
Jamie, Evan, and Josh did a wonderful job leading worship. They ended their set with I Have Decided to Follow Jesus. It was awesome. Sometimes I forget just how powerful some of the older simpler songs are. I spoke last night out of Matthew 5:13 were it talks about how we are to be the salt of the Earth. It was all in all a good night last night. After church I went to dinner at Chick-Fil-a with Jacob, John, Lydia, and Holly. I tell you one thing sometimes I get frustrated at myself because I feel that I have allowed busyness to rob me of that time I use to hold dear of spending time with my students. Last night was an eye opener of what I have been missing.
Today is normally one of my busier days. I started at Southside High School where I do a Bible club every Thursday morning. I slept in a little and was late this morning though. In just a little bit I have to go to Way of the Cross because it is my Thursday to serve at the soup kitchen. After that I hope to get over to Susans house and see the new baby. I talked with her yesterday. The baby is doing fine but Jessica is having some issues with her blood pressure.
Well I hope that everybody is doing great.
