I stole this picture from my buddy Scott Kings facebook page. It is great to know that these guys exist. It is not the stereotyping it is real.

Are You Ready For Some Football

This is a picture of our new 55in Vizio LCD TV. It makes all the difference when watching a game in HD. College football Saturday takes on a whole new meaning.

Our Group is Bigger
Well we are back in the swing of things with college football being here. This weekend was so much fun. We scored a new 55in TV in the house and really put it through the ringer this past weekend as it was on all day long. We had a great Saturday with lots of friends, family, and food. The three F’s that make this time of year so great. It was such a great week we repeated the performance on Monday night. It was a holiday and there was football on so we all gathered back at the house for more food and football. I was able to grab a picture of the way we seem to be growing our small group of friends.

This is Myles Henderson and Asher Horton. They think I am the greatest incase you were wondering. Chad will be having a little girl soon so it should be fun to have a little girl over for college football Saturdays. Hope all is well.

Now For Fall
Well I went to my first High School football game last night. I guess that means that it is Fall. Normally this time of year slo0ws down for me. I am not sure how this fall has become so crazy. I was looking at the football schedule (Auburns) and noticed that I am going to be out of town or tied up for at least 7 games. I was a little disappointed. I have three weddings and three big trips out of town.
It has been such a busy last month but I have really enjoyed it. We had revival at the church and everything went great. I started my new semester of seminary and love my classes. I am taking a bit of a different type of class this semester. There is a lot of outside work that has to be done. One of my classes makes us share the Gospel with at least one person before we are allowed to come back into class. This is a challenge even though I am in ministry. There is something about just walking up to someone cold and talking to them about Jesus. Watchout everyone by the time this semester is over I am sure I will be way more bold.
Well I hope everyone is doing great.

Me and Mattie

Its been a while since I posted about my Niece. She is now three years old. We just celebrated her birthday last month. This picture was taken at her party. I think she was wearing the majority of her gifts. I am so proud of her and love her so much. Allison is expecting another baby too. I am looking forward to having a new niece or nephew.
I start school Monday. I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. I do better when my routine is the same. It has been so crazy I can hardly keep up with all I have to do. The Fall is going to be a busy time but I am looking forward to it. I have trips planned to New Orleans, Dallas, Charlotte, and Gatlinburg. I hope to squeeze in a few Auburn games if possible.
This week we are having Revival at MeadowBrook for our 50th anniversary. If you have time you should try to make one of the sermons. It kicks off Wednesday Night at 6 with Rick Burgess. We have services with different people all week at 6pm. Message me if you have any questions. Hope everyone is doing well.

Quick Trip To North Carolina
Well I had a couple of days to end the summer. I decided to drive up to Allisons for a couple nights. I have not been able to get up here as much as I have wanted the last couple of years. I will tell you one thing it is a good drive to Charlotte. By good I mean LONG. I hope these two days will just crawl by because I am not looking forward to the drive home. It is fun to have time to spend with Matt, Allison, and Mattie though. Hope everyone is having a great week.

So Sorry
Well all I can say is that I am so sorry for the delay. Things have been so crazy for me but there is no excuse for me to let a month go by and not write anything. So if there is anyone left who still feels the need to check on this slacker here is an update of what has happened.
Since I got back from the beach I went to Washington DC with our high school students on a mission trip. It was a great trip. The students did a great job. We had the opportunity to meet Jeff Sessions too so that was awesome.
When I got back from the mission trip I went with our childrens ministry to childrens camp. It was a fun week there just was not enough sleep to be had by me. It took me about a week to catch up but I eventually got over it haha. I have kept busy with things like student grill outs, six flags, and many other day activities with the students. I am ready for school to start back so things will get back to a normal routine.
I start back seminary on Aug 17th. I am ready to see all of my buddies that I haven’t seen or talked too over the summer. They all lead pretty much the same busy lifestyle in the summer as me so there is not a lot of time for us to get together.
Last week Allison Matt and Mattie were in town for Matties 3rd birthday. It is hard to believe that she is three years old. We had a great time together she is so old and is so smart. It amazes me. I just wish that we had more time to spend together. I have spent the better part of my week and my paycheck putting a small home office in my room. I found that last semester of school was hard on me because I didn’t have a great place to study. I hope that it will motivate me more to not procrastinate now that I have a place. I will post a picture when I am finished. It really isnt anything special but I like it. Thanks to Jenny Tunstall who gave me a sweet chair for the room. It is an awesome executive chair that is way nicer then anything else I have in my room. It sure is comfortable though. Makes the hours I spend on facebook go by so fast haha.
Well I hope everyone is doing great. Again I am so sorry I have slacked so much I will do my best to keep up.

Back From The Beach
Well two weeks of my three week adventure is over. I spent last week in Gulf Shores with my second family the Tunstalls. We had such a good time. If you don’t count the two days I had to spend in the library writing a paper.
That was just proof that I did go down to the beach while I was there. I hate the sand I mean hate the sand. We did have a great time and ate very very well. Seth had his birthday while we were there. He turned nine and got some of the coolest gifts ever. I would have to say the kite and scooter were the best (maybe because I bought those) , he did get a netbook. Those things are awesome so if you are looking to buy one it is a good investment.
I am off to Virginia and DC tomorrow for the high school mission trip and will return next Sunday. I hope everyone is doing great and having a great summer.

Me and Maddie

My buddy Christian and his wife Lindsey came over to the house for dinner last night and I finnaly got my picture with Maddie. She is precious nothing like her dad at all.
I am gearing up for a week in Kentucky at Middle School Camp. I am going to try and write some while I am there, but going by my past I probably will not. Who knows tho I may surprise you.
